Travel to Kagoshima
Kagoshima Prefecture is located at the southern part of Kyushu. The region has a subtropical climate and is known for its hot springs, volcanoes, and national parks. Sakurajima, on the other side of Kagoshima City, is an active volcano, and old lava flows and hot springs can be seen around it. If you visit Kagoshima, be sure to try the famous Shirokuma Ice Cream as well as Kurobuta Shabu Shabu. And enjoy the sand steaming hot springs of Ibusuki.
